Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Nov 10, 2008 Turn on, insert memory card (it takes a lot of different types), press "copy" and in a very short time the contents of the memory card are copied to the built in hard drive (with a different directory for each). There is enough space that I expect that I'll rarely have to delete anything. It's great if you use more than one camera, or have multiple people taking pictures of an event.
This drive has it's own power adaptor and is NOT USB POWERED. Although it attaches (as an external hard drive) to a computer via USB, leaving it attached for any length of time will run the battery down so you need to plug in the power adaptor if you are going to leave it attached to a computer. Otherwise, it can be used like any external hard drive. Reading pictures from the drive is much faster than reading directly from memory cards, and since it appears as a hard drive, it's a great way to sneak photos past programs (like Iphoto) which get grabby about memory cards.

Wolverine 7120 review Apr 05, 2008 After owning this media backup I am totally satisfied. It is a simple way to backup your images in the field without a computer. I would purchase this product again and recommend it to anyone needing to backup in the field.

Handy but pricey. Jan 14, 2008 It is a great device for short trips to parks and remote area where Internet service is not available. A laptop may be a bit too heavy to carry around.
