 Major issues in less than a year. Dec 31, 2009
Worked great for 11 months. Now it will not even power on to the default menu. This is the second monitor just like it to suffer the same fate in less than 1 yr.

Ive had this display for maybe 2 years or so and i has worked flawless.
the blue LED in the power light is pretty bright, but tape can fix that if it bothers you that much.
i didnt get mine from amazon. i saw the reviews and the problems they have had and thought id chime in and say my display works great.

[...] and nothing but headaches. After a mere two years it started flickering. First for a few minutes, then for hours, then forever. Tried everything. Nothing. Piece of crap! Shame on you, Samsung!!
 SyncMaster 226bw are great monitors May 12, 2009
I bought this as a second monitor to add to my existing 226bw. It was a reconditioned unit so it came with a few scratches and the back cable cover was missing. The performance is what I expected and am very happy with it. These are good hight quality monitors with clear praphics and fast refresh rates.

Had for over a year now and had no problems, no dead pixels etc. I would recommend to anyone, Downside tho this model is no pivit stand.
The colors are right on. seems to be very sturdy. I play alot of fps games and have had 0 ghosting. This paired up with a great sound system will get you buried in your game faster than you realize.
A+ product and Samsung is a great company.
DOWNFALL if you see one that has a mail in rebate dont even bother. I still have yet to receive mine, I did a delivery conf on the rebate form that I mailed and even showed them proof they received it yet I dont have the 50$ in my hand from that.
