Planar 17in LCD 1700M Mar 15, 2005 I personally found this monitor to be very good.
I have always had a good experience with Planar monitors. Hook up was easy and I did not notice any defects.
I used the monitor for some medium to high gaming. ( Call of Duty, American Conquest etc.. ) and so far have had no issues with gaming.
It may not be the top end for gaming but it is above average for sure !!
