Usually ships in 28-42 business days | | | Meet the Palm Z22 organizer. Yes, a handheld organizer sounds serious. But it's actually a lot of fun. In fact, you can get started in just a few simple steps. Pick it up. It's small and light. Turn it on. There's a bright color screen. Check it out. You can store appointments, phone numbers, to-do lists, and photos. The Palm Z22 organizer holds life's details and lets you find it all fast. Take it wherever life takes you, then get home and save everything to your computer with one tap (when used with included synchronization software). The makers of the original Palm Pilot specifically for people who haven't seen what a handheld organizer can do designed it. Everything is super simple. A touch of a button brings up your appointments, addresses, and more. The Palm Z22 organizer even comes with an easy three-step set-up poster to get you up and running. You'll notice that the Z22 has a bright color screen. Names and addresses are easy to read, appointments can be color-coded, and photos (yes, you can even carry your photos!) come to life. The main thing, though, is organization. You can carry years of appointments, thousands of addresses, hundreds of photos, your to-do lists, a note pad in a pocketsize unit that weighs about 3 ounces. Once you put information into the Palm Z22 organizer, you can rest assured it'll stay there. Even if you forget to recharge and the power runs out. What's more, you can save everything to your computer. Compatible with thousands of optional Palm application software that can be preloaded in your PC and synched to your Z22 | | | |

Man's new best friend Oct 09, 2008 I personally have used the Palm Z22 since it first came out and it is still the premier PDA. With everyone looking to upgrade to the fanciest electronic they can get their hands on, the Z22 maintains a conservative flair for those who purchase the product for its primary purpose; To keep all important dates and contact information for personal or business needs. Bubba's Books has a Palm Z22 listed as the cheapest on the amazon website at amazon.com/shops/bubbasbooksnow
Refurbished Zire 22 -- excellent value Oct 06, 2008 The Palm Zire 22 is a simple PDA. Small, light weight, good battery life, runs the standard Palm desktop software. If you don't need WiFi, Bluetooth or cell phone capabilities this is the one you want. This refurbished unit seems to be as good as a new one, at a much lower price.

blamb Oct 04, 2008 I'm happy with my Palm Pilot but I had to download Messenger 6.0 which I knew nothing about. I had to go to the Geek squad at Best Buy to find out what that was. So they told me where to go to download it for free. Once I downloaded it everything worked perfect. wish I had known about this in the first place, it would have saved me three days of frustration.
Best entry buy for serious Palm professionals Oct 03, 2008 Many have come here to complain about the Z22 but frankly this system has lived for nearly 2 years without any loss of data or staying locked up or broken.
Most users are actually trying to use it with the higher end programs meant for more expensive models of handhelds and smart phone offerings.
The Z22 is not meant to carry out playing newer games or high graphical software, but it does its job and does it well.
Nearly every piece of productivity and entertainment software I have used in the past still works with the Z22. My only issue has been with some of the higher resolution only games that I once used. But games should be a small part of the PDA experience.
One of the best things is that some of the vendors have actually supplied me with versions of their software that will run BETTER on the Z22. Most of the newer updated software is not meant exclusively with the Z22 but many longtime vendors do support a previous version of their software that works well with the Z22.
I have compared the Z22 and for the price I have not lost any productivity or entertainment value and I find it carries out its intent as well as the other PDA versions using the Palm OS. Plus when I was strapped for money to replace my broken PDA the Z22 was the best choice and since I made the choice it has been very reliable.
Is it for everyone, no but I feel it is one of the best for the money!
... Sep 25, 2008 Since receiving this product, my better half ensures I forget nothing (for better or worse).
