V470 mouse is all around best choice Aug 04, 2008
There really are no complaints when it comes to this mouse. Many of the reviewers here mention the lag time that it takes for the mouse to resume after it has been left still for 5 minutes or more. In reality this half-second of non responsiveness is almost completely unnoticeable and in no way gives the user anything to complain over.

It's a bluetooth mouse, and it works as it should. Turn it on, and you're good to go. Feels good in the hand, and has great battery life as well as a great solid feel to it. Best choice when it comes to laptop bluetooth mice.

I could be wrong, but it seems like most Mac/Apple users like/love this mouse and many Windows users aren't too happy (with some exceptions of course). Although it is difficult to determine what platforms some people are using the mouse with, that would be my overall analysis of the reviews I have read. I have a HP Pavilion DV2600 notebook (Windows Vista Home PremiumX32) and this mouse has become a welcome addition to my notebook accessories. SETUP: My girlfriend and I did have some initial trouble setting up the mouse, but read some online help/message boards and some folks recommended not using the Logitech software CD because of bugs. We just let our Bluetooth recognize the mouse independently and that seemed like a wise decision. When we first started using the mouse, we had troubles and had to "re-pair" it everytime we started up the notebook. Now (after about a month) the computer recognizes it immediately and there is zero to minimal lag between when the mouse is physically moved and when it "wakes up" on the screen. BATTERY: The first set of batteries we used lasted for a little less than a month. We are on our second set and they have lasted about 2 months with switching off the power switch when we don't use the mouse for long periods which evidently saves power life. TRACKING: We are not "gamers," but the tracking is precise enough for our use of web browsing, photo editing, word processing, etc. The tracking seemed a little sloppy when we initially used the mouse, but it has improved over time-- I though maybe we just got used to the inaccuracy, but a friend used the mouse recently and they were impressed with its performance.

I am so greatful I have been able to get a bluetooth mouse. it's sleek and small and easy to carry. it comes with a carrying bag and batteries which is always a plus. if your computer is bluetooth enabled get a bluetooth mouse. it nice not to get a jump drive taking one of my usb ports on my laptop.

I am using Mac book, It was a great combination, plug and play, very sensative and precise bluetooth mouse.
It is so elegant and of very good quality material but alittle bit expensive.
Its size is great and convenient.

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - Blue I love this mouse. I put the batteries in, turned it on, and I was ready to go. The on/off switch is great for extending battery life. Absolutely the only thing I am a little unhappy with is the size. Other reviewers had mentioned the small size, but I have very small hands and didn't see this as a potential problem. I do find my hand cramping up occasionally and am experimenting with different ways of holding it. The use of a mouse is new for me, so I might find the same problem with larger units, as well. Oops, forgot the battery cover. I spend 5 minutes getting it off! Obviously I haven't quite figured out the secret for that. I would still buy the mouse, in a heartbeat.
