Awesome for stereo Dec 28, 2008
Okay, so we bought this exclusively for connecting our computer to our Bluetooth compatible stereo for listening to internet radio. Simple to connect, simple to use - AWESOME! We are no computer gurus, but will now look into other uses. Even if this were the ONLY use we'd get out of it, it does exactly - and flawlessly - what we want it to do!

Not fully compatible on a Mac Nov 05, 2008
While this product probably works quite well on a Windows system It did NOT work properly on my Mac running OS X 10.5.5.
A reply from IOGEAR Tech Support said that it "will still work with MAC computers but with limited profiles supported." Unfortunately it was incompatible enough that some of the options were greyed out in the Bluetooth Preferences window.

Great Product, but no need Sep 08, 2008
The product worked great on my laptop and connected to my cell phone. I unfortunately returned it because come to find out, I have no real need for it. It was only to make my printer wireless, but i would need to buy another adapter for my laptop to see the bluetooth printer. No thanks!

I was looking for a USB bluetooth accessory for my desktop, and needed one that was compatible with Windows Vista Home Edition 64-BIT. This one is (many aren't). It works great, though nowhere near the advertised range.
