Luxurious Leather Jul 08, 2008 I cannot tell you how many times people have complimented me on this Leather cover. It feels great to the touch, looks fantastic, and provides great texture for getting a grip on the Macbook pro (which is otherwise quite smooth and can easily slip).
I use my Macbook Pro 17" at work and have never noticed any overheating problems. The cover provides easy access to all ports and the DVD drive.
The only disadvantage is that it adds significant thickness to the Macbook overall. (Maybe increasing overall thickness by about 50%). However, it gives total protections and great look and feel in return.
