Nice design, little protection from impact Sep 14, 2007
I purchased this product because I was looking for a protective case that is as elegant as the MacBook. The case is very nice to look at. The case is also soft to the touch. The interior of the case is a smooth rayon/polyester like material. Personally I was hoping for a velvety interior. I think it would provide a small amount of additional protection for the MacBook. The velvety interior would also protect it from being scratched while being placed into the protective case.

Cons:
Cost - 149.00 to 169.00 USD is a steep price to pay for a product such as this. Personally, I paid 99.00 USD which I thought was a bargain when I purchased it. Now I see why it was priced as such.

Snugness

Suggestions:
Wait for the price to drop or purchase the lesser expensive Glovez or Sleeve.

The black case I purchased bled onto my white MacBook. I did not notice the bleeding until I wanted to show the beautiful Macbook to a co-worker. The bleeding was to be expected, however, I must admit I do not like it at all.
