Belkin MediaPilot Keyboard Sep 18, 2008 This thing is wonderful. Have 2 in use. It uses 2.4Gig RF wireless that works to 30 feet and doesn't disrupt G WiFi. Don't use the IR section but I tested and it works great too. I love the mouse configuration. Wish other keyboards had same configuration! I wish they would bring back product or make one similar as it is now discontinued. Get them while you can.
Don't buy this May 16, 2008 Some of the keys get stuck before pressing down. The mouse is so very slow. I can't believe the MSRP. I paid $40 and that was still way more than what this thing's worth. I wonder who decided to print some of the text in blue on this black keyboard. I have to stop and flash it back and forth in direct light to read what the buttons at the top do. This keyboard is a really poor design.
Does what I wanted Mar 26, 2008 I have about 30, from my couch to my HTPC and keyboard works fine. Universal remote functions were set very easy.
The Belkin Disappointment Mar 02, 2008 What a serious let down! This product only lasted me one month before the keys were sticking and the typing had a horrible delay due to the poor IR connection. This product was NOT worth the price even at the under $20 price point. I STRONGLY recommend against purchasing this product. What a disappointment...
Great idea - poor product Feb 07, 2008 I wanted something that would transmit more than ten feet - which was the limit of the Microsoft keyboard I had, but I can't get this Belkin to work under Windows XP due to driver issues. I have over ten years experience in Windows and Macintosh environments, and this device simply won't work with my system. Ultimately I bought a Logitech keyboard that gives me about fifteen feet in a direct line of sight with new batteries.
