Nice TV card! Nov 23, 2007 Nice software. picture is good when viewed small. Easy installation. Using this to connect my PlayStation2 to my monitor.
HAS SOME PROBLEMS BUT STILL VERY GOOD Oct 22, 2007 PROS: 1. Records excellent video files in the attended mode. If you put it in PAUSE, you end up with a file which is processed fast in NeroVision 4 (if you are converting the MPEG file to a DVD disc). However the file size cannot exceed 4GB.
2. In the unattended timer mode, the file has different characteristics and the NeroVision handles it OK but slow. But the file size can exceed 4GB.
3. The cost price is reasonable.
CONS: 1. There is a minimal time delay between audio and video, when you watch it concurrently in your computer display. But the recorded file is OK.
However, when you put it in pause and resume, the time delay is not present in any significance!
2. I like the quality of Nero Enhanced 7 a whole lot better than the Windows Media Center. But Nero cannot access this program in MCE. Luckily, I have a second computer with XP PRO and a linked "server" hard drive for sharing files.
beware!!! Jul 26, 2007 if you buy this card and it doesnt work perfectly, waste no time and return it ASAP. i have a problem with audio and video sync being off. i have everything higher than what the system requirements are and still get this problem. when i post a message on aver media's message board, they ask me the same things over and over again. theyre no help. save yourself the hassle, and just return this piece of junk if it doesnt work properly. or better yet, just buy the high end card.
Another good AVerMedia purchase Jul 18, 2006 I upgraded from an earlier version of an AVerMedia tv card to this one and will probably buy my next one from AVerMedia as well for both the quality of the card and the stellar support provided by the company. Swap-out of the older card and this version was easy as was installation of the software. My existing Titan tv scheduler worked without modification. Initially I had screen distortion and static but AVerMedia's tech support quickly pointed me to a newer display driver and afterward it worked great. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but that's not why I wanted the card. Bottom line: solid product and serious customer service.

Not so good of a product. Oct 25, 2005 This product doesn't work with dvd programs. Avermedia told me that I would have to uninstall my dvd programs, and probably reinstall my operating system in order to get this to work on my computer. I spent a week with them through email trying to resolve this problem. Then they told me that it doesn't work with dvd programs, and they didn't seem to care that it conflicts with other programs.
