The Model 4300AF faxmodem delivers mobile access to the Internet, email and fax communications for any Bluetooth enabled PDA or Windows computer. The Model 4300AF is a Class 1 Bluetooth device which can provide a wireless connection to client computers within a range of up to 100 meters (328 feet). The Model 4300AF is RoHS Lead-free compliant.The Model 4300AF modem connects to the Internet at uncompressed speeds of up to 56,000 bps and with compression can support data rates of up to 200,000 bps. These modem data rates are fully supported by the Bluetooth wireless connection, which is capable of throughput up to 723,000 bps.Wireless security is ensured with the implementation of a Bluetooth security key. Each model 4300AF contains a unique link key that prevents unauthorized access to the device. The key is transmitted in a secure environment to prevent interception.
