Stable, reliable and fast May 13, 2003
I've tried several other brands and models, this one is the most stable and reliable thus far. I liked the flexibility of being able to read almost every memory card available; combined with USB 2.0 speeds and 100% Windows 2000 compatibility (uses an existing W2K driver), it was interesting enough to buy one for testing. It loaded without needing administrative access (a good thing), allowed me to use flash memory just like a local disk (edit and save files) has fast read/write times, and recovers well from multiple unplanned device ejects - all of this while looping a movie in Media Player 6.4 all week! I bought 15 more and distributed them to my users, so far so good. I'm considering their DVD-R/CD-RW device next.
